The best way to ship your head

First of all, DO NOT use any packing chips. If I receive a cylinder head, and its packed with packing chips inside the box, I will seal it back up and return it. Having said that, here is the best way to ship your head.

1. Use a box thats very close to the size of your cylinder head.
2. Wrap the cylinder head generously in bubble wrap.
3.Pack the rest of the box with crinkled newspaper or equivalent.
4. The head should not be allowed to "slosh" around in the box if the box is moved around.
5. Do not include any unnecessary items, such as the VTEC solenoid, cam caps, misc sensors, water neck etc. etc. as these items are completely useless to me and only add to the weight of the package when shipping.
6.Try not to have the head soaked in oil. While cleaning is part of the service provided, parts that are caked in grease and dripping oil when recieved just make for a bad experience. If you want your cylinder head back as quickly and efficiently as possible, the less time spent cleaning, the more time spent porting.
Using these simple tips, your cylinder head(s),or manifolds will make a cross country trip just fine.
